I’m not the first to note this, but it’s worth saying here. One hidden benefit clients may not realize awaits them as they clear clutter, is what I would label an energetic principle. It’s this: As we let go of that which is no longer relevant, doesn’t serve us, and no longer represents who we are – we create room for something new to enter.

It’s common for people to put off a new chapter in their lives by unconsciously holding on to the things they’ve outgrown, perhaps because it makes them feel safe. But it can be a small step from safety to stagnation, and clearing what has become obsolete from our lives can open up the road ahead so our destination is more clear.


Why I always start with the “worst first”

The most common opening question I receive from clients in our first session is, "Where do we begin?" My standard answer is, "With whatever it is that causes you the most stress - that worst thing you can barely stand to look at or think about." What are your time and peace of mind worth?
